It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dino Magaletto, a beloved friend , and dedicated department member, at the age of 65. Dino was a 46-year member of the department. He held many positions over the years.
Dino joined the department in 1979. He died on April 23rd after a courageous battle with Leukemia at Westchester Medical Center. Dino, larger than life, truly enjoyed people and was known by many in his little neck of the woods. Dino graduated from Fox Lane High School and acquired a multitude of certifications in IT and telecommunications. As a very young man, Dino could often be found tinkering away at his Father's and Uncle's transmission shop, Dino and Artie's transmission in Croton Falls, or in his cellar, repairing some electronic device for a family member or friend. As a talented mechanic, machinist, and IT person, his places of employment are too vast to enumerate. He passed with his boots still on while employed by Verveba Telecom. He leaves behind many brothers and sisters within the Golden's Bridge Fire Department and several cousins throughout the tri-state and the state of Pennsylvania.
 
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 3rd at 11:30 am at St.Joseph's RC Church,95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY
Interment will be private
