Sunday Morning Car into the Woods

Just before 7:30 Sunday morning, Golden's Bridge Fire Department, along with Lewisboro VAC & Westchester EMS, were dispatched to the area of 239 Waccabuc Rd for a motor vehicles accident with injuries. All 3 Chiefs were responding within minutes of dispatch, with Rescue 25 responding right behind the chiefs. Car 2142 was first on scene and reported the accident to be at Waccabuc Rd & Lake St, also reporting it was a single car into the woods. Engine 139 was requested to the scene as precaution. The single occupant of the vehicle was evaluated by LVAC and refused medical attention. At that time Lewisboro Ambulance & the Westchester EMS Paramedic were put back in service. Golden's Bridge Fire remained on scene until the vehicle was removed by the towing company. Units operated on the scene for about 1 hour.
