Tuesday Night 2 Car MVA

Just as Golden's Bridge Firefighters were finishing weekly training on Tuesday June 27, they were dispatched along with Lewisboro EMS & Westchester EMS to I684 Northbound in the area of 19.6 for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries. All 3 chiefs signed on responding within seconds of dispatch. Rescue 25, Engine 140 and Tanker 1 would be only minutes behind the chiefs. Car 2142 was first on scene and reported possibly six cars involved and that he would advise on patient count. Car 2142, Car, 2143, Rescue 25 & EMS, units were positioned on Route 22. Car 2141, Engine 140 & Tanker 1 was located on I684 itself. Engine 140 & Tanker 1 were put into blocking position upon arrival at the scene. The Engine 140s crew stretched a precautionary hoseline in case any other hazards arose. The updated vehicle count was two and there were three occupants of the vehicles, of which all refused medical attention on the scene. Units operated at the scene for about an hour before the vehicles were towed away and cleared the incident scene.
